Notice
ChronoQuest is a free and open source project. Personal data collected by the website is limited to what is needed to answer messages, manage user-submitted materials and keep essential technical statistics on downloads.
The data controller is Danese Luca. For privacy requests, you can write to info@chronoquest-academy.com.
When you use the contact form, name, email address, subject and message are requested. These data are used only to read the request and reply by email. They are not used for newsletters, marketing or communications unrelated to the submitted request.
When the material upload feature is active, the author’s name and email may be requested together with the submitted content, such as quests, characters or customizations. These data will be used to review the material, communicate approval or rejection and, where provided by the submission form, show the author name next to published material.
To count downloads, the downloaded package, language, a hash of the IP address and the browser user agent are recorded. These data are used for aggregated technical statistics and to avoid anomalous counts; they are not used for commercial profiling.
The website may use technical cookies or sessions for essential functions, such as language choice or access to the administration area. Advertising cookies, profiling tools or marketing tracking systems are not currently used.
Processing of data submitted through contact forms or material uploads is based on the need to respond to the user’s request and manage the requested service. Technical download and security data are based on the legitimate interest in keeping the website functional, secure and statistically manageable.
Messages received through the contact form are kept for the time needed to manage the request and any follow-up. Data related to submitted materials may be kept while the material is under review or published. Technical download logs are kept only for the time useful to the statistical and technical management of the website.
Data may be processed through the technical services needed to run the website, such as hosting, database and email services. Data are not sold to third parties.
You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection to processing and, where applicable, data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.
The website does not use automated decision-making or profiling to produce legal or significant effects on users.
To exercise your rights or ask for clarification about data processing, write to the controller’s email address.
This notice describes the current and planned operation of the website. It may be updated when new functions are added, especially the Archive with material uploads.
